As conflict in the Middle East escalates, it’s worth airing out a polarizing question: Was the Trump administration justified in attacking Iran? Critics argue the move is illegal, sets a bad precedent on sovereignty, is counterproductive, and has thrust the region into instability. But supporters of Trump’s move say the Islamic Republic had become a regional menace, was nearing a nuclear threshold, and was brutally suppressing its own people.
